Barbara Mayo Page, 78, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 at Covenant Hospice. Barbara was born on December 22, 1936 in Gadsden Alabama. She attended Gadsden High school, Jacksonville State University and The University of West Florida where she received her degrees in history education. She was a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and interned at Gulf Breeze Middle School. She was avid world traveler with her favorite destinations ranging from Ireland, England and Spain. A very active bridge player and enjoyed most playing with her church family including, Terry Arn, Leanna Allmon and many other members at the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. She volunteered with the Pensacola Art Museum and Pensacola Art Guild and a member of Gulf Breeze Hoe N Hum Garden Club. She was a people person and loved life. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Thomas Mayo and Paralee Horton Mayo. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth L. Page and her children Kenni Page Russell (Kim), Tallahassee and Erin Page Wright (William), Wesley Chapel, FL. Four grandchildren Daniel Ryan Russell (Monica), Tallahassee, Stacey Rene Russell, Miami Beach, Thomas Crist Davis and Blakely Etta Wright both of Wesley Chapel, FL. Her sister, Gail Mayo Dickson, Gadsden, AL. One great grandchild Ryan Charles Russell and many other loving relatives. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Jolita Klementaviciene, MD., Linne, Claire Carlson, Sandra Corcoran and Stan and Gay Godwin for all their support, love, and assistance these last several years. A memorial service will be held on December 19, 2015 at the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church at 10:00 AM, all are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church, 100 Andrew Jackson trail, Gulf Breeze Florida 32561.
