Barbara Martin

Barbara Jean Martin, daughter of the late Henry A. James and Mytrice M. (Childers) James, was born on May 24, 1936, and departed this life on August 13th, 2020. Barbara married Harold Martin who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son: Mike (Charla) Martin of Gulf Breeze, Florida, her two brothers: Henry W. James of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Doyle W. James of Adamsville, Tennessee, her two sisters: Glenda Payne of Rives, Missouri, and Renae Montgomery of Kennett, Missouri, as well as other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter: Twila Martin, brothers: John Alford, Donald Boyd, Roger Keith, Bobby Randall, Gerald Lynn, and Richard Allen James, and sisters: Mary Marie, Helen Faye, and Patricia Ann.

Barbara was formerly of Rives, Missouri, and passed away in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at Midway Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze, on Thursday, August 20th, at 2:00 PM.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri, will be in charge of the arrangements thereafter. Services are incomplete at this time.
