Annie Lang

Annie Gilley Lang, 79, of Gulf Breeze, FL went to her heavenly home on January 11, 2024. A loving wife to Rev. David Lang of 63 years. A mother of three daughters and grandmother of three generations.

She shared a ministry with her husband Rev. David Lang for 42 years. A pastor in her own right, she walked in faith and always had an encouraging word. The generosity she had knew no limits. She truly was the hands and feet of Jesus.  She was the sectional leader for the Women’s Ministry Group, and she started the Midway First Assembly of God Food Ministry Program of 25 years. Not only did she feed those in need, she was always planting God’s seeds. Praying for those who walked through the doors, it was her calling she did not ignore. She was a beautiful example of God’s unconditional love. A prayer warrior who stood her ground, and in the throne room her prayers were found. A beautiful legacy she leaves behind, not only for her family but for all who knew her. As for her children and grandchildren she will be called Blessed, and as a wife, a pearl of great price.

We will not say goodbye, but we’ll smile and say, we will see you soon that glorious day.

Annie is preceded in death by her grandson, J.D. Lee; daughter, Rhonda Warren and grandson, Andrew Kelly.  She is survived by her husband, Rev. David Lang of 63 years; daughter Debbie Hess (spouse, Jim); daughter Anita Kelly (spouse, Gary); grandchildren, Tonya Fortin (spouse, D.J.), Amber Powell, Annie Colquett (spouse, Andrew), Cynthia Williams, Anthony Kelly, Sarina Chastain (spouse, Tyler), Ceirra Kelly, Gracelyn Kelly, Jeffrey Warren, Jordan Warren, Jarrett Warren, Jodie Warren; great grandchildren, Hunter Dupont (fiancé’, Kamryn Wright), Trevor Dupont, Annabelle Dupont, Mackenzie Powell, Mackenna Powell, Michael Powell III, Will Rhodes, Bennett Fortin, Apollo Chastain, Jaylie Warren, Jay Warren, Joliegh Warren, Lincoln Warren, Karson Warren; and great-great grandchild, Kingsley Dupont.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at East Bay Church with Pastor Stacey Clearman and Pastor Will Watts officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
