Anna Michelle Buckley (56) was born on August 3, 1966 in Corpus Christi, TX to Daniel Lee Rumbley and Susan (Moushey) Fike. As a result of her father’s career as a Navy pilot, she spent her childhood and school years in Virginia, Rhode Island, California, Florida, Spain and the Philippines. After graduating from George Dewey High School on Subic Bay Naval Base in the Philippines, she settled in Gulf Breeze in 1984, where she eventually raised her own family. Anna worked from 2000 to 2008 for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and from 2008 to 2018 for Publix, in both Gulf Breeze and Fort Myers, FL. She was a talented cook, a gifted calligrapher, and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Anna is survived by her mother and her sister, Laura Rumbley (The Netherlands); three sons, Sam Buckley (Pensacola), Charles Buckley (Gulf Breeze), and James Buckley (Gulf Breeze); six grandchildren; one niece; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
