Ann Harris

Ann Linton Humphries-Harris 1923 - 2009 Ann Harris, 76, of Gulf Breeze passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 13, 2009. Ann was born in Bay Minette, Al; she graduated from Baldwin County High School and attended Huntingdon College. Ann was active in the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church and Auburn University events. She worked many years before retiring from Sun Bank in Gulf Breeze, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Ann Humphries of Bay Minette, AL. She was survived by her brother, George Humphries (Nell) of St. Louis, MO; former husband, Jim Harris; sons, Jim Harris (Judy) of Destin, Duke Harris (Lynn) of Gulf Breeze, Robert Harris (Susan) of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Kathy Martin (Dale) of Destin; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International or Covenant Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 16, 2009, at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home.
