Alva Hubbard

Alva "Verne" Hubbard 1942 - 2010 Alva "Verne" Hubbard, a long time resident of Gulf Breeze, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 12, 2010. "Verne" was born September 14, 1942, to John W. Hubbard and Feara Van Patten Hubbard in Columbus, Georgia. She is survived by her sister, Leah Walton and her brother-in-law, Bob Walton. "Verne" is a part of the First Assembly of God of Gulf Breeze. She attended Pollack Training Center/Gateway of Escambia County that she dearly loved for approximately 20 years. Funeral services will be held at ROSE LAWN FUNERAL HOME of Gulf Breeze on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior.
