Agnes Kostic

Agnes G. Kostic, age 84 of Gulf Breeze went to be with our Lord Friday, March 23, 2012. She was a loving and giving mother of eight children, grandmother of nine grandchildren. Agnes was a lifelong resident of Gulf Breeze and was an active member in St. Ann's Catholic Church after moving there in 1958 from Westport, Connecticut. After raising all of her children, she launched her second career as a cashier for 23 years starting with the original Big B Drugs and continued her career until her retirement from CVS in Gulf Breeze in 2008. She and the love of her life, Bob, were one of several founding members of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze and Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Pensacola Beach where she will be missed by all who were touched by her generosity and loving kindness. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Robert Kostic of 51 years and is survived by her eight children, Mary Hart (Wilson), Ellen Larsen (Ken), Mark, Michael, Paul, Pat (Laurie), Elizabeth and David (Terri) and her nine grandchildren, Joshua Kostic, Brooke Kostic, Andrew Kostic, Daniel Kostic, Leah Kostic, Kathleen Kostic, Caroline Kostic, Jessica Patterson and Jordan Patterson. She is also survived by her three sisters Sarah Rowland, Claire Devlin, and Jeanne Gallagher. A funeral Mass was held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church and burial was held at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Gulf Breeze.
