Patricia Trachy

April 26, 1939 — June 19, 2014

Patricia P. Trachy, age 75, of Gulf Breeze, passed away comfortably on June 19, 2014, at her home after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Born April 26, 1939 in Cullman, AL, daughter of Bertis Patterson and Evelyn Patterson Swaim. She grew up in Birmingham, AL, married her high school sweetheart, Harry Trachy in 1957 while attending Auburn University. Following graduation in 1961, the couple moved to Gulf Breeze. The loves of her life were her God, family, friends and teaching as a professor at Pensacola Junior College. Her grace, beautiful smile and laughter will be forever remembered. Surviving are her husband Harry Trachy; son, Randy Trachy and wife Trish Trachy and daughter Terri Davidson and husband David Davidson; and three grandchildren, Michael Davidson, Robyn Davidson, and Allison Trachy. She is also survived by her brother James Patterson and wife Jeannie Patterson of Birmingham, AL and her sister Kathy Halbrooks and husband Tom Halbrooks of Atlanta, GA. The visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd beginning at 12:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 75 Fairpoint Drive, interment will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
