Patricia Taylor

The world lost an amazing woman and heaven gained an angel. Pat saw the beauty in all people and things around her in the world. She taught us the true meaning of unconditional love, always taking the time to listen and understand the heart of a person. Pat showed us how to find the beauty in every day, in sunrises and sunsets, in the birds and animals she loved, in meteor showers, and in storms. As a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Pat is survived by her loving husband Don Taylor, her father J.T. Hornsby, her four sisters and brothers in law; Brenda Moseley (Jeff), Gloria Anderson (Sammy), Connie Sherman (Larry), Kathy Evans (James) and her brother-in-law Cary Taylor (Susan). She leaves behind her daughters Stacey Tarbuck (Chris), Wendi Huffmaster (Todd Lentini), and Julie George (Len), her son-in-law Dave Glassman, along with grandchildren Kyler Glassman (Ashlie), Jordan Huffmaster (Justin Harp), Nicholas Huffmaster, Maxx Glassman (Lacey Gilley), Garrett Glassman (Bryttani), and Caroline, Claudia, Franklin and Shealy George. Pat also leaves two great grandsons Jamison Pierce Harp and Kai Delfin Glassman. Pat was preceded in death by her mother Esther Lee Hornsby and her father's second wife Anna Hornsby. Her in-laws Donald O. and Louise J. Taylor. Services will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Friday, August 1st at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Pat's name be made to The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, the Hummer/Bird Study Group, or the American Heart Association.
