Martha Fredrickson

Martha Louise Picken Fredrickson, age 104, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Beacon of Gulf Breeze. Martha was born May 28, 1912 in Colville, Washington. Martha attended the University of Washington in Seattle. She lived in New York for ten years where she performed on Broadway. Martha loved the theatre, arts and traveling. Martha and Dale retired to Gulf Breeze in 1985 and were active members of the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. Martha was preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Alice Grace Clements Picken, and a daughter Linda Lloyd-Davies Terry. Survivors include her step-sons Jeffrey Dale (Kathy) Fredrickson and Edward Mark (Joette) Fredrickson. Grandsons Trevor (Melissa) Boyer, Chris (Princess Myrnette) Boyer, Bonnie Kate (Lewis) Shadwick, Matthew Ward Fredrickson, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Her devoted sitter Brenda Colon who took excellent care of Martha and Dale and was greatly appreciated by the family. A time of visitation will be on Monday, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze, followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
