Leigh P. Thomas, age 38, passed away on Tuesday March 26th, 2019, at his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Leigh was born on July 31st, 1980 in Woodstock, Virginia.
Leigh graduated from Central High School in Woodstock, Virginia in 1999. He always had a passion and great talent with art and truly enjoyed creating things. He loved all kinds of music and playing the guitar, even creating a band with his childhood friends. He was a huge fan of all motor sports, and had too many favorite drivers to list. He attended many memorable races with his father Kenneth. Some of his other favorite sports teams were:- The Minnesota Twins (baseball), The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (football), The Washington Capitals (hockey), The Chelsea Football Club (soccer).
But more important than his interests, is that he used them to connect with many people all over the world. He truly has an international online family, with his friends on F1FansForever and The Chive. People he never met in person, helped him through many difficult times, and he also helped them in many different ways also. He cared so deeply for all of his long time friends since childhood. He talked to everyone and could turn strangers into friends like it was nothing. His open and silly personality brought joy to so many and so much laughter. He truly was a shining light that will live on in so many people's hearts and the great memories he has given them.
His most important gift to this world was giving life to his eldest daughter, Calissa Steward, twice. And ensuring her mother, and his intended wife Kristina Steward, forever peace of mind.
He leaves behind in his home in Florida:-
Kristina Steward, his long time fiancé, intended wife and mother of their daughter, Calissa Steward age 17. He also leaves behind their family's greatly loved fur babies. Appa (his boy that gave him so much joy as his first ever dog), and Kaa-iya ( his daddy's little girl who he instantly fell in love with, even though he swore he never wanted a bird). And his just recently passed Akuma ( their first family pet, his rabbit that was more like a dog, running the house and watching out the windows, lived to the grand old age of 10).
