Edgar Arey

Edgar Theodore Arey (Ted), aged 73, passed away peacefully in his home in Gulf Breeze, Monday March 18, 2019. Ted was born on June 12, 1945 at Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from EastRidge High School Chattanooga in 1963. He then earned and received a degree from Tennessee Temple University. Ted moved down and lived in the Gulf Breeze area for over thirty years mowing lawns, landscaping and caring for people. He is survived by his cousins: Diane, Dottie, Jana, Patti, Kevin, Bill, Cindy, Scott, Wade, Susan and Angie.
Ted served honorably in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Pakistan and Minot North Dakota until he was discharged to care for his mother after his father's death.
His work took him all over Gulf Breeze where he infected the community with his good nature, kind spirit and humble benevolence.
Ted's absence will be felt throughout the community where his down to earth wisdom and kind spirit was infectious.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday 25 March 2019 at Barrancas National Cemetery/ Graveside
