I went to high school with George. He was a wonderful, caring person. I always enjoyed listening to their band. Loved his family. His sister, Denise, gave me my first job out of college and was a wonderful boss. I never saw George after he moved to FL but I often thought about him and how adventurous he was to follow his dreams.

George was my first best friend when in moved to Jamestown in the 4th Grade and that very close friendship lasted throughout our years in Cookeville at TTU, until my dear friend followed his heart and moved to the Gulf. Thankfully, he (and April) introduced me to and influenced my musical taste more than anyone else. I came to love Springsteen, Bowie, Queen, ELO and more. I attended his wedding and visited a few times throughout his 34 years there, but not nearly enough (and I regret that). However, we remained close and talked occasionally (more the last couple years) on the phone anout family, UT football, music and our favorite subject at the time, politics. We also discussed faith and he confirmed his relationship with Jesus Christ and personal salvation (of which I'm hugely thankful). And, we always ended our call with "I love you". George never changed no matter the situation or challenge and in my last trip to FL, he helped my twin boys catch their very first fish....we had a fun, but brief visit and my boys were elated! I never fathomed it'd be the last time seeing my friend but I'm confident that I will see him again.

So many memories that we shared throughout our teen years in Jamestown. Between high school and church we laughed so many times. Life changed with introduction of the Beatles and Queen with screaming every song, skating rinks, soccer time with Daddy at York Elem. and the hallways of YAI plus football games :) Your family accepted us newbies to Jamestown with open arms. May God place HIS hands upon your family, guide and comfort them and bring them peace and love. Your memory will be locked in everyone's hearts forever,
